One thing is certain, since football season is here, we know that cooler/colder weather is at least in our near future. I want to thank everyone for their concern for the wellbeing of our dogs. The first thing everyone asks me when they see me, is if the dogs (and I) survived this horrendous summer. Most people don’t expect you to have climate controled kennels but we do. That being said, even with the small ac units, it was a struggle, this summer, keeping things bareable for them. Still, they wanted to spend time outdoors, in the shade of trees and lounging in their pools. I certainly had a higher water bill this summer, keeping their pools and drinking water as fresh and cool as possible. As hard as it is to believe, I will be breaking ice again, before I know it./LOL
We still have one phenominal female Rottie pup available from our 04/29/11 litter. Don’t be put off by her age. She is amazing, sweet, loving, friendly, well socialized, pretty much housebroken and working on leash training. She will have no problem taking to her new family. Her sister just went to her new home with a 6 months old baby and she is already always checking to make sure she knows where her “new charge” is and that she is safe. We are expecting a couple of new litters that should be ready for XMAS. So, reserve your soon.
Our female Papillons are all adopted but have gorgeous males available. If someone wants a happy, entertaining friend, our 6 month old “Buddy” is just the answer. He is the happiest puppy I have ever been around. We also have a couple of teacup male Papillons available. “Buddy” is white/red and the two teacups, “Jet” and “Nugget” are both white/black.
We had one male Peekapoo born on 09/11. He is a gorgeous silver.
I also want to take the time to thank my many “parents” that tell me they always check in on my web site just to see what new puppies I have and what is going on with us. I appreciate it and again, I encourage you to send me updates and new photos of your babies. I love staying in touch and learning about how they are doing and getting to see them growing up and all grown up. So, send in those pictures. I have been lapse but still intend to finish my photo gallery of past puppies.
Again, I want to ask that you support our troops and the wounded warriors projects. I have always admired and greatly respected our military but the loss of my nephew, SSGT Jeremy D Smith, has brought it all too close to home, just how much they give us, without hesitating to put their lives on the line for us and our freedoms. I don’t think he would mind me referring to him as a beautiful person. He truly was, outwardly, model handsome, He was know as the Warrior Poet, and I look forward to hopefully getting a copy of his journals of poems, songs and short stories. The world is a sadder place without him but a platoon of young men are alive because of him. So, to all you brave men and women you have my unfaltering respect and admiration. I also give military discounts, w
