Hi, everyone, wishing you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving, Safe travels to you.

Puppies are doing well. Thank you to my many “new parents”. To so many of you getting your second and in some cases third puppies from me, I appreciate your loyalty and devotion to our puppies. And I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the referrals to your friends and family. It means the world to me that you are so pleased with your 4-legged loved ones.

We have several new litters, here, and they are already starting to get adopted, so act soon, to reserve the pup of your choice. We have a litter of Peekapoos, 3 males and 2 females, in Phantoms and creamy/white, DOB 10/23/11. Hi, guys, as always, much longer between updates than intended. These 4-legged kids keep me hopping or is that tripping (both). We have one male Peekapoo puppy that is ready to go to his new home . The rest of our pups are all adopted or newborn. (Peekapoos, Papapoos & Papillons) New pictures of the newbies, soon. “Squeaks” the Peekapoo is just an incredible little guy. Guaranteed to steal your heart.

As always, I want to give my thanks to our servive men/women. Safe and speedy return to you all. Support  your wounded warrior projects!

A new litter of Rottweilers due any day.

Looks like we might actually get some rain, so I better go do my outdoor chores.

As some of you know we lost my nephew SSGT Jeremy D Smith on 04/06/11. It is going to be a hard weekend for my family this weekend, as his troop is coming home and it hits us, anew, that Jeremy won’t be coming home to us. But I want to extend my prayers to the troops and their families, thank them for their service and welcome them home.

All of our Rottweiler puppies have been adopted but we are expecting Oct litters that will give us puppies ready for their new homes right around Xmas, so reserve yours soon.

We have gorgeous Papillons available, males and females.

Yeah, cooler weather is finally here. It seems like it has been a long time coming this year.

One thing is certain, since football season is here, we know that cooler/colder weather is at least in our near future. I want to thank everyone for their concern for the wellbeing of our dogs. The first thing everyone asks me when they see me, is if the dogs (and I) survived this horrendous summer. Most people don’t expect you to have climate controled kennels but we do. That being said, even with the small ac units, it was a struggle, this summer, keeping things bareable for them. Still, they wanted to spend time outdoors, in the shade of trees and lounging in their pools. I certainly had a higher water bill this summer, keeping their pools and drinking water as fresh and cool as possible. As hard as it is to believe, I will be breaking ice again, before I know it./LOL

We still have one phenominal female Rottie pup available from our 04/29/11 litter. Don’t be put off by her age. She is amazing, sweet, loving, friendly, well socialized, pretty much housebroken and working on leash training. She will have no problem taking to her new family. Her sister just went to her new home with a 6 months old baby and she is already always checking to make sure she knows where her “new charge” is and that she is safe. We are expecting a couple of new litters that should be ready for XMAS. So, reserve your soon.

Our female Papillons are all adopted but have gorgeous males available. If someone wants a happy, entertaining friend, our 6 month old “Buddy” is just the answer. He is the happiest puppy I have ever been around. We also have a couple of teacup male Papillons available.  “Buddy” is white/red and the two teacups, “Jet” and “Nugget” are both white/black.

We had one male Peekapoo born on 09/11. He is a gorgeous  silver.

I also want to take the time to thank my many “parents” that tell me they always check in on my web site just to see what new puppies I have and what is going on with us. I appreciate it and again, I encourage you to send me updates and new photos of your babies. I love staying in touch and learning about how they are doing and getting to see them growing up and all grown up. So, send in those pictures. I have been lapse but still intend to finish my  photo gallery of past puppies.

Again, I want to ask that you support our troops and the wounded warriors projects. I have always admired and greatly respected our military but the loss of my nephew, SSGT Jeremy D Smith, has brought it all too close to home, just how much they give us, without hesitating to put their lives on the line for us and our freedoms. I don’t think he would mind me referring to him as a beautiful person. He truly was, outwardly, model handsome, He was know as the Warrior Poet, and I look forward to hopefully getting a copy of his journals of poems, songs and short stories. The world is a sadder place without him but a platoon of young men are alive because of him. So, to all you brave men and women you have my unfaltering respect and admiration. I also give military discounts, w

Hi, everybody. I just wanted to mention this fine cause and ask that everyone please support your men and women of the armed forces. My nephew Jeremy, who lost his life in Apr, had asked that we do what we can for them. His wife Rachel is involved in fund raisers, now, in his honor, supporting the wounded warriors. So, don’t forget them.

Well, we have survived one heck of a tough summer. The heat and drought has really taken a toll on everything around us. The dogs have really gotten a lot of use out of their pools, this summer. Hope we don’t go straight from records highs to record lows. I w

We have one female Rottweiler left available in our 4/29/11 litter, with new litters due to be ready around XMAS. So, plan ahead for your Xmas Rottie. Our pups are raised VERY hands on, with lots of training and socialization, so don’t be put off by her age. I have done all the hard work for you. She is a wonderful, loving, playful, sweet girl, that is well on her way to being housebroken and leash training started as well.

We have some gorgeous Papillon puppies available, as well, from young to teenager. They are so happy and entertaining. They will charm you, the moment you meet them.

I am sure you all are as sick of the heat and drout as we are. I am wishing my life away, wanting cooler weather but alas we have no control over these things. Even though the dogs have air conditioned buildings, they still like to spend a lot of time outdoors. So, they are really enjoying their kiddie pools and playing in the water hoses.

We still have a few gorgeous Rottie pups, 1 male and several females available. Great chance to get a really good deal on a top quality Rottie puppy that is well on its way to being housebroken.

We have Papillon puppies ready to go, 1 male and 3 females and a new litter of 3 males. All gorgeous and sweet.

Just wanted to drop a line and say hey!

Sorry for the long silence. We had a tragic loss in the family and are still so raw with that pain. My nephew, Jeremy Smith, was the Arlington, TX  marine that was killed in Apr, 2011, in Afghistan, calling in the drone attack. He save his platoon, knowing he would most likely not make it. He was such an incredible, brave, kind, loving young man and is still and will always be missed so much. I wanted to write a tribute worthy of  him but just have not been able to put my thoughts together, to do him justice with it, yet. So, I just have to know that he knows how much I loved him and how much he meant to me and everyone else that knew him and how proud of him, we are.

I have just dived into my my puppies to keep me busy and that they have done. I desperately need to update my available puppy gallery photos and I will soon.  I still have some incredibly beautiful Rottweiler puppies available and  a few gorgeous Papillons available also.

More later, Brenda

Yeah, spring is here, although, I am sure we will have another frost, if for no other reason than to kill the peaches on my mom’s peach trees. The Nov litter of Rottie pups are all adopted out but plan ahead and reserve the Rottweiler of your dreams in the upcoming litters due in a couple of weeks. We have one new litter of Papillons with 3 males and a new litter of tiny Toy Poodles, with 2 females and 1 male. Work will be pretty much nonstop for a few weeks, now. Repairs and chores that kept getting put off during the amazing winter we had this year.

Hope ya’ll are having a great weekend, Brenda

My gorgeous Jazz (Papillon) stayed right on schedule for me and had her puppies on the very day, I had her scheduled for. I love it when a plan comes together. She had 3 males and although they are ugly as new borns are/LOL, I am sure they will be absolutely gorgeous. Reserve yours soon.

We  have a very busy next two months with puppies coming for the rest of this month and on into April, with new litters of Papillons and Rottweilers and one litter of Poodles on the way. I will be very busy but definitely in hog (dog) heaven. Good thing I seem to thrive on being busy.

Right now, I am thinking I would take some more snow over the allergy problems I am having. Ok, maybe not, but this is just about as hard to deal with. Thought I would write a few lines while I have a few free moments. We are getting ready for spring puppies to sprout and grow and they will be lovier than any spring flower and won’t make me sneeze. If you are getting ready to think about adding that new 4-legged family member, now would be the time to check out our pups, here at Oldfield Outdoors. I am betting we will have one that you will fall in love with.

Have a great weekend, Brenda

Brenda, I just wanted to say thank you for everything! You have been the most kind, helpful and understanding breeder, I have ever met. I can’t wait to see Buttons and I will do my best in taking care of him. I had my doubts in buying a puppy online and sending you the cashier check, but everything went so well. Thanks again! I will try to send you updated pictures of him from time to time.

I found Brenda Oldfield’s website three years ago when I was looking for a Papillon. It was important to me that I was dealing with a reputable breeder so I had been searching for months. Finding Brenda was a blessing! I was very pleased to see how she treated her pups like family. I could tell she was checking me out to see what kind of parent I would be as much as I was assessing the situation around me when I arrived to see the puppies. I could not have been happier with the results. My husband and I ended up with a beautiful black and white Papillon that we named Little Britches Jr., after his Dad! He is healthy and his temperament is so sweet. Brenda has always welcomed questions and has offered her assistance even years after we adopted our pup. We have been considering an addition to our family and I will not go to any other breeder except for Brenda! I recommend her to everyone that asks me about our Papillon. I was lucky to find such a wonderful Pap and such a good breeder!
